ACRELab is a testing laboratory for
renewable energy components and systems based at the Headquarters
of the Australian
Cooperative Research Centre for Renewable Energy (ACRE) in Perth,
Western Australia. ACRELab is a project of ACRE.
ACRELab provides testing, design, certification and
training services for the renewable energy industry. It also conducts
standards development, product development, research and commercial
consultancies.
ACRELab's Objectives
The main objective of ACRELab is to improve the reliability
and quality of Renewable Energy products and services. This objective
is consistent with the Federal Government's industry action agenda.
ACRELab will accomplish this by means of the following specific
goals:

Become an internationally recognised Renewable Energy Testing
& Certification laboratory

Develop Australian and International standards for Renewable
Energy Systems

Assist the Australian Industry to become world competitive

Provide infrastructure and support for other projects
